Ceri joined Companies House in 2015. Ceri has a degree in mathematics from Cardiff University and started her career in the Intellectual Property Office (IPO), where she held a variety of different roles. She began as a patent examiner, and later became Head of Copyright Policy, implementing the Artists’ Resale Right Directive. More recently, she was Deputy Director for Innovation, where she was responsible for the IPO’s support for small businesses. Ceri is also the Community Interest Company Regulator.
I am delighted to announce that the new online incorporation process for registering new community interest companies (CICs) went live on Monday 11th March 2019.
My name is Ceri Witchard and I became the Regulator of Community Interest Companies (CICs) in September 2015.
